Obscure Shape

Born in Brazil and later based in Germany in the Black Forest area, Obscure Shape has been building a career linked to the European techno scenes since the 2010s. First noted as one half of the duo SHDW & Obscure Shape, he later developed a solo project where classic techno, Detroit heritage, 90s references and a more flexible house pulse intersect, with regular attention to ambient zones. Obscure Shape releases on labels such as Rekids, Soma, BPitch and Exhale, and has produced remixes for artists like Radio Slave, Pan-Pot and Abstract Division. His work favors direct club-oriented forms without remaining confined to a single register; tracks often move between hypnotic tension, a crisp groove and more atmospheric textures. On stage he regularly performs live, adopting an approach that seeks energy circulation and set evolution in contact with the audience rather than mere technical display.
