KATSEYE

Based in Los Angeles, KATSEYE took shape in 2023 following the show Dream Academy, a joint project by Hybe and Geffen Records, before debuting in 2024 as a sextet with Daniela, Lara, Manon, Megan, Sophia and Yoonchae, who come from the United States, the Philippines, Switzerland and South Korea. KATSEYE operates in English‑language pop designed for the stage, with songwriting that blends immediate hooks, light R&B, dance touches and an emphasis on choreographic work inherited from the Korean training system. After the singles 'Debut' and 'Touch' in 2024, the group released the EP SIS (Soft Is Strong) the same year, and their journey was documented in the Netflix series Pop Star Academy: Katseye. In 2025, KATSEYE broadened its palette with Beautiful Chaos, driven notably by 'Gnarly' and 'Gabriela', the latter co‑written by Charli XCX, moving in a more abrasive and changeable direction than their earlier tracks. KATSEYE's trajectory has also included pop stages and festivals, from Wango Tango to Lollapalooza, as well as appearances in South America and at Coachella in 2026, when the group also unveiled the single 'Pinky Up' and announced the EP Wild, scheduled for the same year.
