Soda Blonde

Born in Dublin in the late 2010s, Soda Blonde brings together singer-songwriter Faye O’Rourke with Adam O’Regan, Donagh Seaver O’Leary and Dylan Lynch, former members of Little Green Cars, which split up in 2019. The quartet moved toward a sophisticated alternative pop informed by art pop and 1980s-inspired sonics, where a striking lead voice, vocal harmonies and melodic basslines play a central role. Their first compositions appeared on the EP "Terrible Hands" in 2019, followed by "Isolation Content" in 2020, establishing the band on the Irish indie scene and across a circuit of venues and festivals in the UK and Europe. The 2021 album "Small Talk" expanded their palette with detailed pop arrangements and introspective songwriting about identity, relationships and urban everyday life. With "Dream Big" (2023), Soda Blonde extended this approach, delivering pop that is both accessible and carefully crafted—characterized by melodic choruses, a taste for cinematic atmospheres, and close attention to vocal textures and group dynamics.
