Rosa Anschütz

Based in Berlin, Rosa Anschütz has been developing since the late 2010s a solo project positioned between darkwave, post-punk, coldwave and minimalist electronics. A German artist, she constructs music centered on the voice—often spoken or sung in a low register—laid over dry rhythms, repetitive synth lines and a tension that sits close to slow EBM, dark synth-pop and stripped-down techno. Her debut album, Votive, released in 2020, established this austere, physical framework, later extended on stage in contexts mixing concerts, performances and clubs. Rosa Anschütz’s audience broadened within the electronic scene through Kobosil’s remix of “Rigid”, which circulated her universe on dancefloors without erasing its cold, frontal edge. Between minimal songcraft, spoken word and industrial textures, she operates in a transversal space where Berlin club culture, post‑punk aesthetics and concise vocal writing intersect.
