Mariano Mellino
Born in Buenos Aires, Mariano Mellino has, since the early 2000s, built a career focused on club electronic music with progressive lines at the intersection of progressive house and melodic techno. He began mixing at 19 and gradually honed an approach defined by slow builds, melodic textures and dynamic sets, following in the footsteps of artists such as Hernan Cattaneo, Sasha, Nick Warren and John Digweed. His trajectory started within the Argentine scene and expanded internationally, with dates across Europe, the Americas, Asia and the Middle East, in settings ranging from clubs to larger events. Mariano Mellino also developed Audioholics, initially conceived as a radio show before becoming a series of parties established in several Argentine cities, notably Buenos Aires and Rosario. Over the years he has shared bills with names from the house, progressive and melodic techno scenes like Tale Of Us, Solomun, Guy Gerber and James Zabiela, while continuing to produce a precise, narrative sound tailored for the dancefloor.
