Sheldon

Within the Parisian collective 75e Session, Sheldon is one of the founders and at the same time develops a solo path within the independent French rap scene. A guitarist since childhood, he first grew up with jazz, reggae and rock before placing rap at the center of his expression, while retaining a very musical approach to composition. As a rapper, composer and multi-instrumentalist, Sheldon builds his projects on multiple levels — from writing to production — with particular attention to melodies, atmospheres and the rhythm of the lyrics. His music belongs to introspective rap, often tinged with a melancholic tone, where imagery, metaphors and a touch of the fantastic play an important role. After several EPs, Sheldon released Lune Noire in 2019, Spectre in 2021 and Îlot in 2023, three albums that continue this line between personal writing and precise sonic work. Still linked to the collective dynamic of 75e Session, Sheldon thus pursues a trajectory in which rap dialogues with a broader instrumental culture.
