Info
On December 11, 2027, Ycare will perform at Le Forum in Liège. The Francophone singer-songwriter Assane Attyé, born in Dakar, has been moving for years between pop, modern chanson and a touch of folk. On stage, it’s about melodies that stick, acoustic guitars and lyrics that sit close to the skin, with that direct, almost spoken-sung feeling that makes his songs so personal.\n\nSince his breakthrough on Nouvelle Star (2008), Ycare has built a repertoire that can go in different directions: the warmer, more intimate vibe of Au bord du monde, the darker and more electric tones of Lumière noire, and the pop-rock and ballads of La Somme de tout ça. In more recent work, from Adieu je t’aime to Des millions d’années, he returns to relationships and small stories, sometimes in duets, with a richer production. In Liège you can expect a set that shifts between sparse and fuller, always with the lyrics upfront and room for real connection with the audience.
