Info
Heatwave lands at Boisdale of Canary Wharf in London on November 27, 2026 for a night built on the band’s signature blend of funk, soul and disco. Born in London in 1975 around brothers Johnnie and Keith Wilder, the group helped shape the late-70s groove with sharp rhythms, tight vocal harmonies and that balance between dancefloor burners and slow, melodic ballads.
Expect a set that leans into the songs that made their name: “Boogie Nights”, “The Groove Line” and the slow-burn classic “Always and Forever”. With key writing and keyboard work from Rod Temperton at the heart of their early identity, Heatwave’s catalogue still hits with the same clean, body-moving precision. Onstage, it’s all about the band’s live chemistry and that timeless pocket that keeps funk and disco feeling alive, not nostalgic.
