Info
Loose Ends land at Soul Mama Islington in London on Saturday 3 April 2027 for a live set that goes straight to the heart of British soul. Born in London at the start of the 80s, the group shaped a signature blend of smooth harmonies, funk-infused grooves and contemporary R&B, sitting right between the UK scene and the American circuit of the time.
Expect a tight, dance-friendly show built around the tracks that made their name: Hangin’ on a String (Contemplating), Magic Touch, Slow Down, and the wider run of releases that defined their mid-80s peak. There’s a real sense of craft in their songwriting and production, with melodies designed to stick and rhythms that keep moving without rushing. Whether you grew up with these records or you’re catching up now, this night is about reconnecting with a sound that still feels sharp on stage.
