Info
Mike + The Mechanics bring the Back on Track Tour to Swansea Arena in Swansea on May 11, 2027, with the kind of pop-rock that knows how to hit straight to the chorus. Born in 1985 around Mike Rutherford during a Genesis break, the band built its name on tight songwriting, smooth production and that balance between rock drive and soul-leaning pop.
Live, it’s a chance to reconnect with the catalogue that shaped their late-80s and 90s run: “Silent Running (On Dangerous Ground)”, “All I Need Is a Miracle”, “The Living Years”, and the broader set of songs from the early albums through Word of Mouth and Beggar on a Beach of Gold. Since the 2010 relaunch, the group has kept the spirit intact while updating the lineup, with Andrew Roachford and Tim Howar sharing vocals, bringing different colors to the same melodic backbone. Expect a set designed for singing along, carried by Rutherford’s steady touch and a band built for the stage.
