Mike + The Mechanics come back on the road with the Back On Track Tour 2027, stopping at Sheffield City Hall on June 14, 2027. Born in 1985 as Mike Rutherford’s project alongside Genesis, the band has always been about tight songwriting, big melodic hooks and that clean pop-rock sound that sits right between adult pop and classic British rock.
Onstage, the set naturally leans on the songs that defined them for a whole era: The Living Years, All I Need Is a Miracle, Over My Shoulder, plus other staples like Silent Running. Since the 2010 restart, Rutherford has rebuilt the group around a solid, road-ready lineup, with Andrew Roachford and Tim Howar sharing lead vocals, backed by Anthony Drennan on guitar, Luke Juby on keys and Gary Wallis on drums. Expect a show designed to keep the classics moving, with enough later material to underline how the band’s sound has kept evolving without losing its core.
