Info
On March 9, 2027, Will Young brings his pop-soul craft to the Bournemouth International Centre, with a show built around the voice that’s carried him far beyond his early Pop Idol breakthrough. Expect adult-pop songwriting with a clean, flexible delivery, where warmth and restraint matter as much as the hooks. Over the years he’s moved easily between bright, dance-leaning arrangements and more intimate, hushed moods, and that balance sits at the core of his live sets.
From the early-2000s run of albums that shaped his sound to later records leaning into sleeker, more synthetic textures, Will Young has kept refining his approach rather than chasing trends. He’s also made space for interpretation, including a covers-focused project produced with Richard X, and his experience on stage as an actor feeds into a performance style that feels direct and present. This Bournemouth date is a chance to hear those electro-tinged touches and soul shading in full flow, song by song.
