Info
Rod Stewart brings his road-tested catalog to The SSE Arena Belfast on April 27, 2027, leaning on the mix that made him a staple since the late 60s: rootsy rock, folk touches, and soul phrasing carried by that unmistakably raspy voice. Expect a set shaped by his early solo run and classic-era momentum, from the storytelling swing of Every Picture Tells a Story and the grit of Gasoline Alley to the bigger, more radio-friendly turns he embraced after moving to the US in the mid-70s. Stewart’s shows also tend to leave room for the covers and standards he’s long made his own, moving easily between heartfelt balladry and full-band punch.
Also on the bill, Howard Jones comes with a very different kind of intensity, built on the contrast-heavy style he developed in American metalcore. Known for switching between clean lines, screams, and growls, he’s tied to the era-defining Killswitch Engage records of the 2000s and later projects like Light the Torch, where heavy riffs and melodic choruses are made to hit in the same breath.
