Info
On August 15, 2027, Leon Bridges brings The Happiness Anytime Tour to Freedom Mobile Arch in Vancouver, with a set built on the way his music keeps shifting without losing its core. First known for a stripped-back, vintage-leaning soul approach, he’s since opened the frame toward modern R&B and neo-soul, then let in folk and country textures. Expect a show that moves between smooth grooves, late-night moods and warm, organic arrangements, carried by his flexible phrasing and that calm, direct presence on stage.
Opening the night, London afrobeat-jazz collective KOKOROKO lands with the kind of live energy that’s made them a key name in the UK scene. Led around trumpeter Sheila Maurice-Grey, their sound is all brass-driven melodies, tight guitars and polyrhythms pulling from Nigerian afrobeat, West African highlife and improvising jazz. A perfect way to set the room in motion before Bridges takes over.
