Info
On April 16, 2027, at Metz’s Robert Schuman Congress Centre, Sylvie Vartan presents ‘Ma vie en chanson, avec vous…’ as a journey through her repertoire, blending memories of the stage with hits that have accompanied several generations. A yé-yé icon since the early 1960s, she established direct, melodic French pop, nourished by twists and rock ’n’ roll, with her distinctive way of making the refrains sound self-evident. On stage, we encounter the songs that marked her trajectory, from the 1960s to the more orchestrated turns of the following decades, without losing the pop energy that has followed her since her beginnings. From ‘La plus belle pour aller danser’ to ‘Comme un garçon’, ‘La Maritza’ or ‘Irrésistiblement’, this Metz date feels like an evening of reunion: a survey in song, carried by an artist who has always known how to evolve her style while preserving a sense of melody and showmanship.
