Info
On 4 February 2027, The Fratellis land at Rock City in Nottingham to celebrate 20 years of Costello Music, the record that put their name everywhere in the mid-2000s indie rock rush. Expect a set built around that punchy, no-frills guitar sound: sharp riffs, tight rhythm, and choruses made to be shouted back without thinking. Jon, Baz and Mince Fratelli have always had that knack for turning garagey energy and power-pop hooks into instant crowd moments, and this anniversary show is the perfect excuse to dive back into the songs that defined their early run.
But it won’t feel like a museum piece. Over the years they’ve stretched their template into something warmer and more expansive, sometimes brushing up against soul and orchestral rock while keeping the same melodic bite. This night at Rock City is about connecting those eras in one go: the raw snap of their breakthrough and the later, more open sound, all delivered with that straight-to-the-point live drive.
