On October 7, 2026, LSD and the Search for God will set up their amplifiers at Petit Bain, in Paris, for a plunge into a dense, misty shoegaze born in the heart of San Francisco's indie scene. Since the mid-2000s, the band has been digging into a sound made of saturated guitars, sheets of feedback, and rather slow rhythms, with vocals drowned in reverb, somewhere between dream pop and psychedelia with a space-rock tint.
On stage, the idea isn’t to pile up tracks but to build a flow: layers that overlap, a volume that envelops, melancholic melodies that emerge and then dissolve. The tracks from the 2007 self-titled EP, which circulated for a long time in specialist networks, cross with those from 'Heaven Is a Place' (2017), in a set conceived as an immersive experience, faithful to a rare but influential discography.
