Led by Bruce Soord, composer and producer, The Pineapple Thief has carved out a distinctive niche in British progressive rock: melodic guitars, often melancholic atmospheres, and writing that leans on dynamics rather than showmanship. Since Gavin Harrison joined on drums, the group has gained even more depth, with a sense of taut groove and buildups that take their time, heard on albums such as Your Wilderness, Dissolution, Versions of the Truth, or It Leads to This. On 20 March 2027 at the Trianon in Paris, the quartet will present Far and Wide in a format of 'an evening with', conceived as a journey into depth. On stage, the contrasts are the spice of the show: restrained, almost intimate passages, then sweeping waves of sound, refrains that unfold and tight, precise rhythms. An opportunity to also revisit key tracks from the repertoire, in a concert that plays on immersion and emotion, without ever losing the thread.
