The DF Concerts show presents Dove Ellis on 26 November 2026 at Saint Luke’s & The Winged Ox in Glasgow. Behind this name, the Irishman Thomas O’Donoghue delivers a direct indie folk, guided by his voice and guitar, with just enough indie-rock tension to lift it above mere salon folk.
After the self-produced EP To the Sandals (2024), Dove Ellis accelerates in 2025 with a string of more assertive tracks, including 'To the Sandals', 'Love Is' and 'Pale Song', which establish his taste for crisp melodies and tight songs. In December 2025, he moves to a full-length format with Blizzard, a debut album where the writing remains front-and-center, designed for live performance. On stage, he has notably been spotted opening for Geese and during a session recorded at St. James’ Church for Other Voices, evidence of a project already well honed in concert.
