Tyla arrives in Toronto on November 27, 2026 at the Coca-Cola Coliseum with 'The A*Pop World Tour'. Born in Edenvale and raised east of Johannesburg, the South African singer has made a name for herself by blending English-language pop, amapiano, contemporary R&B, and touches of afrobeats. Since her early notable tracks such as 'Getting Late', then 'Overdue' and 'To Last', she has honed a direct writing style and flexible rhythms, crafted for the dancefloor as much as for radio.
The real turning point comes with 'Water' in 2023: a track that condenses her formula, between amapiano groove and pop refrains, and that establishes her on the international scene. In the wake of this, Tyla has toured major stages, collaborated with artists, and made TV appearances, before releasing her debut album Tyla in 2024, followed by a deluxe edition with 'Push 2 Start'. In 2025, she extends the momentum with the EP WWP (We Wanna Party), still along this line: short, punchy tracks, calibrated to get people moving without losing the sense of singing.
