Brandon Flowers returns solo on October 21, 2026 at the York Barbican, with his unmistakable way of weaving together synth-pop, alternative rock, and distinctly American songwriting. Clear vocals, hooks that latch on quickly, keyboards up front: you find again what has made him the driving force behind the Killers since the 2000s, between post-punk tension, hints of new wave, and an unapologetic fondness for the 1980s, not to mention an increasingly evident heartland rock vein.
On stage, Flowers also draws from his solo records Flamingo and The Desired Effect, where he comes across as more direct, more melodic, while preserving that storytelling sensibility rooted in the American West, between Nevada, Utah and straight, wide highways. A date that lands at just the right moment: a third album, Thrasher, is announced for 2026, providing material to fuel a set conceived as a natural extension of his journey, balancing beloved hits with new songs.
