Sloan returns to the stage in Toronto on November 21, 2026, with what has defined them since the early 1990s: indie rock nourished by power pop, melodic guitars and choruses that hit the mark. Formed in Halifax, the quartet of Chris Murphy, Jay Ferguson, Patrick Pentland and Andrew Scott has established itself with this collaborative writing approach, where everyone composes and sings, giving the songs colors that move without losing the thread.
From Smeared to Twice Removed, then One Chord to Another and Navy Blues, Sloan has honed a balance between bright pop and denser rock, powered by vocal harmonies and a sense of tempo that knows when to slow down.
