On August 8, 2026, Starlite Festival - Auditorio Marbella welcomes Soleá Morente, Yerai Cortés and Estrella Morente for an evening that bridges flamenco’s heritage and its present.
Estrella Morente, a Granadan shaped by the singing and dancing of her family, unveils a voice that moves naturally from cante jondo (deep flamenco singing) to copla and popular song. In concert she weaves together traditional palos and more chamber-like repertoire, attending closely to phrasing and compás (the flamenco rhythmic framework), with a manner of expression that connects tradition and openness without losing flamenco’s pulse.
Soleá Morente, born in Madrid and raised in Granada, has built her own voice where cante converses with singer-songwriter pop, indie and flashes of rock. On records such as Tendrá que haber un camino, Lo que te falta and Aurora y Enrique she has crafted accessible melodies and contemporary textures atop an Andalusian foundation. On stage, that blend becomes physical and rhythmic—between handclaps, guitars and choruses that look toward the present.
Flamenco guitarist Yerai Cortés brings the touch that supports and propels the meeting. His compás makes room for the singing and for the interplay between the two voices, moving from caress to more marked strumming and sustaining the shifts in color of each piece.
