Jamie McIntyre

On 14 October 2026 at The Sunflower Lounge, Birmingham, Galway songwriter Jamie McIntyre brings a folk-pop writing that keeps things close and human. Rooted in the west of Ireland, he shapes compact, melody-led songs where the story guides the line. Since the 2024 single Over Galway Town, he has been widening his audience on stage: an opening slot for Gavin James in Paris with Three’s City Stages, a passage at Electric Picnic, then support dates for Jamie Webster at the 3Olympia in Dublin and the Telegraph Building in Belfast, alongside a collaboration with Imelda May. In 2025 he carried that momentum through a first tour across Ireland and the UK, from Dublin, Limerick and Cork to Glasgow, London, Manchester and back to Galway.

Live, McIntyre stays close to the grain of his writing: stripped-back arrangements, acoustic textures, a voice up front and lyrics that hold the room without forcing.
