Info
Lake Street Dive bring their blend of pop, soul, jazz and folk to Bristol Beacon, Bristol, on 20 October 2026. Led by the voice of Rachael Price alongside Bridget Kearney, Mike Calabrese, Akie Bermiss and James Cornelison, the band builds songs around close harmonies, supple grooves and a clear melodic sense. From Bad Self Portraits and Side Pony to Obviously and the Grammy-nominated Good Together, they’ve shaped a catalogue that tackles the moment with wit and warmth, turning everyday tensions into tunes made to sing together. On stage, their interplay and openness carry the set, inviting movement and connection.
Mamas Gun open the night with London-brewed soul-pop guided by singer-guitarist Andy Platts. Steeped in 70s R&B and soft-rock inflections, their tracks lean on stacked vocals, clean grooves and an ear for concise songcraft. The arc from Routes to Riches and The Life and Soul through Golden Days and Cure the Jones shows a steady focus on melody, mid-tempo sway and a few funkier detours, sharpened by years of club and festival shows. A pairing built on musicianship, harmonies and groove-forward songwriting.
