Otis Kane

Based in Los Angeles, Anthony Vasquez is developing the Otis Kane project at the crossroads of contemporary R&B, soul and a funk textured pop, with supple writing and detailed productions inherited from his journey as a producer and multi-instrumentalist. Initially active in the studio, he began singing at a young age before widening his practice to composition and production, then paused his music studies when an opportunity to work with Nellee Hooper led him into the professional world. This passage marks the first phase of his career in the shadows, extended by live performances as a keyboardist for Lolene and by the development of his own studio, STRZ Enterprises, where he collaborates notably on projects linked to American pop and hip-hop. Under the name Otis Kane, he released his first tracks in 2019, then refined a format centered on melodic, organic and precise R&B songs. The EP Therapy in 2020 and Growing Pains in 2021 precede the Purple BLUE album, released in 2021, which features Chloe Angelides and KALLITECHNIS. In the same year, November Love Notes extends this direction with tracks driven by modern soul, more collaborative, with India Shawn, Krysten Simone and KALLITECHNIS. Otis Kane subsequently continued with several singles, including Free in 2022 and Good Life with CLAY in 2023.
