Info
Bleech 9:3 arrive at Casa Capitão in Lisbon on 21 August 2026. The Irish quartet, born between Dublin and the Brixton scene, has been making a name for itself on the indie circuit: an intense 2025 saw them opening for Shame and Keo and headlining sold-out shows, including a three-night residency at the Blue Basement in London.
With only a few singles out — including "Ceiling" and "Jacky" — the band has consolidated its live buzz with compact, no-frills sets in which the group's dynamics drive the music forward.
Bleech 9:3's sound thrives on contrast: crisp, catchy melodies that coil around saturated guitars, moments of restraint that erupt into blasts of distortion. Their lineage from Radiohead, Deftones and Nirvana meets contemporary echoes of Fontaines D.C. and Sleep Token, in a direct, melodic and abrasive vein. On stage, the focus is on tension and physicality, balancing evocation and impact — a balance that underpins the songwriting of founding duo Barry Quinlan and Sam Duffy, supported by James Quinlan on bass and Luke O'Neill on drums.
