A Place to Bury Strangers have been performing for nearly two decades, combining post-punk, noise rock, shoegaze, psychedelia, and avant-garde music. As the founder of Death By Audio, maker of signal-scrambling stompboxes and effects units, frontman and guitarist Oliver Ackermann has brought that approach to other artists who use his gear. On stage, A Place to Bury Strangers deliver an immersive show with high-volume sound, abrupt shifts, live experimentation, and extensive use of effects. They perform at The White Hotel on 26 August 2026 at 6:30 pm.
