Adolescents & Scream

Adolescents & Scream double headliner in London: on 7 August 2026 at New Cross Inn, these two US hardcore fixtures share the stage, with Channel 3 (CH3) as special guests.

The Adolescents came out of Fullerton, Orange County, shaping early SoCal hardcore with a faster, more melodic slant. Led by Tony Reflex and the late Steve Soto, their 1981 self-titled debut drew a line in the sand: sharp guitars, brisk tempos and choruses that stick. After breakups and reformations, the group still carries that mix of urgency and hooks on stage, built around Reflex with a refreshed lineup.

Scream formed in 1979 in Arlington, Virginia, inside the early Washington, D.C. movement alongside Minor Threat and Bad Brains. With Pete and Franz Stahl, Skeeter Thompson and Kent Stax, the band forged a taut, driving sound and a relentless touring habit; Dave Grohl took the drum seat in 1986. Their sets lean on tight rhythms, raw edges and vocals that bite, rooted in D.C. hardcore but open to rock pulse.

Special guests Channel 3, from Cerritos, California and active since 1980, bring compact, hook-forward punk that links the bill back to its Southern California roots.
