Info
Brought to prominence by the 12th season of Star Academy (2024–2025), where he reached the semi-finals, Charles Doré is carving out his path between French chanson and vocal pop. Hailing from Guingamp and having come to the stage after a background in the equestrian world, he has made his mark with a flexible timbre, a direct approach to interpretation, and clear melodies. On stage, he cultivates a taste for vocal-led songs and choruses that go straight to the point, drawing on an aesthetic that looks toward Daniel Balavoine, Michel Polnareff and Florent Pagny.
After a crash course in large venues during the Zénith tour and an appearance at the Accor Arena, he translates that experience into his concerts with a set focused on performance, ranging from ballads to more pop-driven tempos. On 23 January 2027 at the 6MIC in Aix-en-Provence, he appears as an artist attached to simple stories, melodic efficiency and a frank, direct expressiveness where the voice leads the way.
