On June 21, as the longest day of the year stretches into a long golden evening, we return to IJland to mark the start of summer. A long back-to-back set between Olivier Weiter and Miss Melera.
Set against the open waters of the IJ, IJland offers a perspective on Amsterdam that is both expansive and intimate. Floor-to-ceiling windows blur the line between inside and outside, so even while you’re sheltered within, you remain connected to the light, the sky and the movement of the water just beyond. It’s a space where every shift in light subtly reshapes the atmosphere.
From 15h00 to 22h00, Olivier Weiter and Miss Melera will guide the room through an extended musical dialogue, a shared narrative that evolves gradually, drawing on their deep-rooted connection to melodic and progressive sounds. Their back-to-back sets are fluid and intuitive, where energy is built with patience, tension unfolds naturally and moments are allowed to breathe.
This is not about peaks alone but about the full arc of a day: arriving in the daylight, settling into the rhythm, watching the sun lower over the IJ, and easing into the early night together. A collective experience shaped as much by the setting as by the music.
