Info
Kodaline will bring their Farewell Tour to Carlswerk Victoria in Cologne on 9 December 2026. The quartet from Swords, near Dublin—Steve Garrigan, Mark Prendergast, Vinny May Jr. and Jason Boland—originally began as 21 Demands and, in 2012, adopted the name Kodaline, settling on a clear pop-rock and alternative direction. Their sound is defined by straightforward melodies, bright guitars, abundant piano and ballads that sit between indie pop, melodic rock and an intimate singer‑songwriter touch.
On stage, Kodaline draw on material from all phases of their career: from In a Perfect World (2013) and Coming Up for Air (2015) through Politics of Living (2018) to One Day at a Time (2020). With each album the production broadened and grew more pop-oriented, without abandoning the band’s DNA: personal lyrics about relationships, absence and memory, carried by Garrigan’s voice and compact arrangements. The farewell shows map this evolution, with quiet piano moments, distinctive choruses and clear guitar lines. A concentrated retrospective, spanning ten years of Kodaline.
