MIND: ALT8, Avenir, CYUR, MIZA

Saturday, May 2, 2026, Le Virage (17th arrondissement, Paris) hosts MIND with a tight, club-oriented lineup: ALT8, Avenir, CYUR and MIZA on the decks for a no-nonsense night.

A rising figure on the Irish scene, ALT8 shapes a sound that blends hard techno, 2000s dance and touches of trance, with a pronounced emphasis on the kick and a fast tempo designed for the dancefloor. Inspired by his older brother’s sets, he initially mixed hip-hop and dance music before moving into production in 2019. His releases include Mind Control (2021) on Reckless (DYEN’s label), the Obvious Intention EP on Hekate in 2022, and Chains of Humanity featured on the third R Label Group compilation. In clubs as well as at festivals, he champions a direct aesthetic, combining simple melodic lines, rave atmospheres and controlled tension.

Alongside him, Avenir, CYUR and MIZA complete the bill and alternate behind the decks. Each brings their own stamp, delivering club-cut sets with a steady progression from start to finish. It’s an ideal format for navigating accelerations, breakdowns and buildups while keeping the focus on the floor. Back to basics: a sound system, four DJs and a dancing crowd at Le Virage, Paris 17th.
