On Thursday, 9 April 2026, SPA in Concert brings the Cologne label collective to Open Ground in Wuppertal: an evening alternating between live acts and DJ sets with james K, Fact Splitter, Sarah San and Phillip Jondo b2b DJ Brom.
james K, born in New York, works as a singer, producer and interdisciplinary artist. Her pieces move between experimentation, pop fragments and club-adjacent rhythms, with the voice often at the centre. Releases on AD 93, Incienso, PAN, iDEAL, Dial and UNO have marked her path, and collaborations with artists such as Yves Tumor, Beta Librae, Oli XL and Drew McDowall have broadened her scope. Her most recent album, Friend, builds bridges between trip hop, breaks and dream pop.
Fact Splitter hail from Düsseldorf’s DIY scene. The band project weaves the chopped sample aesthetic of the mid-2000s with warm, indie-tinged guitar and piano riffs, presenting this blend as a live set.
The evening is framed by SPA’s DJs: Sarah San opens and closes the night, while Phillip Jondo and DJ Brom meet for a joint b2b set. The result is a cross-section of the collective’s current sonic universe.
