Novelists

Novelists will be at Le Moloco in Audincourt on April 19, 2026. Born in Paris, the band pushes its progressive metal into territory that is both technical and expressive, now carried by the voice of Camille Contreras. On stage, her timbre takes the lead while guitarists Pierre Danel and Florestan Durand layer precise motifs and syncopated riffs, allowing more airy textures to breathe. The rhythm section plays the contrast card, between djent hits and immersive passages, producing songs that shift seamlessly from tension to calm.

The concert is built around Coda, the latest chapter in their discography, a sign of a deliberate turn that does not renounce the band’s foundations. It features tracks like "Coda" and "All for Nothing," crafted for the stage with multi-layered structures and a keen sense of dynamics. After tours shared with Northlane, Periphery and Erra, Novelists arrive with a tightened sound and strong cohesion. The set is conceived to make instrumental precision and emotional ascent coexist, between controlled bursts and melodies that linger.
