Solar Fake

Solar Fake, the electronic project of Berlin-based Sven Friedrich (Dreadful Shadows, Zeraphine), performs on May 1, 2026 at Wolf Barcelona. Founded in 2007 in Berlin, the project moves between synthpop, futurepop and dark wave influences, with a sound that puts Friedrich’s voice front and center, direct synthetic melodies and rhythms designed for the club. The lyrics, in English, range from introspection and disenchantment to social observation—a line he has refined since his debut Broken Grid and consolidated with Frontiers and Reasons to Kill.

Live, Solar Fake appears in a compact electronic lineup that emphasizes the contrast between crisp choruses and shadowy atmospheres.
