Malte Ebert

On 21 March 2026, Malte Ebert plays TRAIN in Aarhus. The singer and songwriter behind the gold‑tinted persona Gulddreng moves between character work and sharp pop writing. Since the 2016 breakout Model and tracks like Se mig nu, Drikker for lidt or Ked af det, he has used humor, an outsized ego and snapshots of nightlife to shape a glossy caricature of Danish urban pop, fusing pop, dance and melodic R&B. Theater and staging feed the project, blurring fiction and reality while keeping a clear sense of melody and rhythm.

Releases such as the 24K EP and the album Farvel framed one chapter, later echoed by the 2021 return with Helt Sikker. On stage, Ebert taps into that catalogue as well as material under his own name, shifting the focus from the gilded character to the writer behind it.
