Sebastian Solo

On 20 August 2026 at Magasingaarden in Faaborg, Sebastian appears solo for a pared-back set. The Danish singer, guitarist and songwriter started in the early 70s, first in English with The Goddess, then shifting to Danish with Den store flugt. His music blends folk rock, pop and keyboard-led rock, carried by narrative lyrics that observe everyday life. Solo, he brings the songs to their essentials: voice, guitar and stories.

Across five decades, Sebastian has recorded widely and composed for stage and screen. His catalogue ranges from Lossepladsen bløder, Over havet under himlen, Stjerne til støv and 80'ernes boheme to works for musical theatre and TV such as Skatteøen, Ronja Røverdatter, Pippi, Nana and Gøngehøvdingen. He keeps releasing new material and sharing songs with different generations of performers, including Lis Sørensen, Sissel Kyrkjebø and Sara Grabow. This concert draws from that long journey in a straightforward, solo format at Magasingaarden in Faaborg, Denmark.
