Alberte Winding

Active on the Danish scene since the 1980s, Alberte Winding has developed a career at the crossroads of song, children’s music and acting. Born in Denmark into an artistic family, she first gained recognition on television with the children’s series Bamses Billedbog, where she combined acting, singing and songwriting. At the same time she launched a solo recording career, moving toward gentle Danish-language pop with folk and occasional jazz touches, focused on voice, melodies and intimate lyrics. A significant part of her work remains tied to childhood, with albums and shows for families, while another portion of her repertoire is aimed at adults with more introspective songs. Alberte Winding regularly collaborates with guitarist and songwriter Jan Rørdam, a long-time musical partner both in the studio and on stage. Alongside recording and concert activities, she appears in various films and television series, pursuing a trajectory in which song and performance remain closely linked.
