As It Is - Ruin My Life in Europe

As It Is bring their mix of pop-punk, emo and alternative to Berlin with Ruin My Life In Europe. Founded in Brighton in 2012, the band fronted by singer Patty Walters initially made a name for themselves with DIY EPs before signing to Fearless Records. Debut Never Happy, Ever After (2015) relied on melodic hooks and lyrics about doubt and relationships; okay. (2017) added more alternative shades. With The Great Depression (2018), themes around mental health moved into the foreground, accompanied by harder, at times near-post-hardcore edges and a more theatrical vocal delivery. After lineup changes the current core trio formed around Walters, guitarist Ronnie Ish and bassist Alistair Testo. I Went To Hell And Back (2022) bundles rapid outbursts, heavier parts and ballad-like moments, clearly built around Walters’ voice.

Live, As It Is translates this mix into a compact set of angular riffs, catchy melodies and emo-tinged nuances. On June 9, 2026 at the Badehaus Berlin the band spans the arc of their catalogue, from early favorites to newer tracks, showing how their sound has evolved since their beginnings.
