Info
Wallice lands in Toronto with a set that threads indie pop and 90s-leaning rock through a bedroom-pop lens. Based in Los Angeles and now on Dirty Hit, she’s built a catalogue that maps the push and pull of entering adulthood: Off the Rails (2021) sketched indecision with dry, unvarnished lyrics; 90s American Superstar (2022) played with pop-culture personas; Mr Big Shot (2023) pushed a tighter indie rock bite while keeping the writing close and candid. On stage, she plays with a full band, giving her laid-back voice and melodic guitars a firmer backbone. She brings this arc to Longboat Hall in Toronto on April 11, 2026.
Opening the night, Brooklyn duo Fake Dad — Andrea de Varona and Josh Ford — shape intimate indie pop from soft electronics, understated guitars and melodic keys. Their songs float on hushed harmonies and clear-cut structures, circling relationships, daily anxiety and the way online life colors our moods. The DIY touch of their home-studio tracks carries over live, keeping things close without losing momentum.
