Info
Bernard Lavilliers is back on stage. On March 4 and 5, 2027, he takes over the Zénith de Paris – La Villette for two concerts that trace the thread of a career forged between travel and commitment. Born in Saint-Étienne, a former factory worker turned seasoned traveler, he has been blending chanson and rock since the 1970s, with deliberate detours into reggae, Brazilian rhythms, Caribbean sounds and touches of jazz. His lyrics evoke ports, wandering, cities and social realities, within a recognizably urban and maritime imagination. On stage, this mix is embodied in arrangements open to world music and a storytelling that moves to the groove. From O gringo and État d’urgence to Carnets de bord and Clair-obscur, his repertoire crosses decades without losing its narrative drive. In Paris, audiences will hear that deep voice, signature songs and more recent material, carried by experienced musicians, for a concert that links road stories with today’s beats.
