On February 25, 2026, Prospera Place in Kelowna hosts the Like A Rollin Thunder Tour, bringing together Live, Big Wreck and Econoline Crush.
Live formed in York, Pennsylvania around singer-guitarist Ed Kowalczyk and came up in the 90s alternative wave. Guitar-driven and melodic, their songs fold introspective writing into direct hooks, from Mental Jewelry and Throwing Copper to Secret Samadhi and The Distance to Here. After detours and reunions, Kowalczyk is again at the mic, steering a sound that balances drive and melody.
Big Wreck, built around Canadian singer and guitarist Ian Thornley, blends hard rock weight with progressive turns and a taste for layered guitars. From In Loving Memory Of... to the recent 7.1, 7.2 and 7.3 releases, the band favors texture, shifting dynamics and melodies shaped by Thornley’s tone.
Vancouver’s Econoline Crush, led by Trevor Hurst, threads industrial edges through alternative rock and post-grunge. Across Affliction, The Devil You Know and 2023’s When the Devil Drives, they mix dense electronics with riff-forward songwriting, drawing a straight line between darker atmospheres and clean, memorable choruses.
