Excision lands at Place Bell in Laval, Canada on February 21, 2026, with the bass-driven sound that made Jeff Abel a fixture of North American dubstep since the mid-2000s. The Kelowna-born producer cut his teeth in dubstep and drumstep, shaping tracks around massive low-end, precision-cut structures and a sci-fi aesthetic that runs through his artwork and stage universe. Founder of Rottun Recordings and, since 2020, Subsidia Records, he’s used his labels to push his own music and a broad riddim and dubstep roster. His studio milestones include X Rated (2011), Codename X (2015), Virus (2016), Apex (2018) and Onyx (2022). He also co-founded the live, metal-leaning project Destroid with Downlink and KJ Sawka, and launched the Lost Lands and Bass Canyon festivals, now key gatherings for the community built around his sound.
