Honeymoon Suite

Formed in Niagara Falls in the early 1980s, Honeymoon Suite made its mark on the Canadian pop-rock scene with melodic hard rock and choruses built for FM radio. Propelled by "New Girl Now," the band followed with "Feel It Again," "Stay in the Light" and "Burning in Love," and even slipped its riffs into films like "One Crazy Summer" and "Lethal Weapon." At the heart of the project, Johnnie Dee’s voice and Derry Grehan’s guitar, joined by Peter Nunn, Gary Lalonde and Dave Betts, shape an AOR sound driven by crisp guitars, prominent keyboards and vocal harmonies. On March 7, 2026, Honeymoon Suite takes the Cabaret of the Montreal Casino for a set that revisits key tracks from their early albums alongside newer material, performed by a lineup seasoned by live performance. It’s an opportunity to rediscover the hooks that defined the band—between rock energy and instantly memorable melodies—without affectation or forced nostalgia.
