Miossec will be at the Colisée in Lens on April 17, 2026. An author, composer and performer, the native of Brest made his mark in 1995 with Boire, recorded with Guillaume Jouan and Bruno Leroux, which became a touchstone for the new wave of French song. He then imposed himself with his third album, Apprendre — which he says he does not like — and went on to release Brûle, L’étreinte, Chansons ordinaires, Ici-bas, ici même, Mammifères and Les Rescapés. After the reissue of Boire and an anniversary tour, he wrote and composed Simplifier, his twelfth album released in 2023, recorded at his home in Brest in a stripped-down vein around a guitar, a bass and an old drum machine. On stage, Miossec favors tight arrangements and clarity of words. In Lens, he will mix signature hits and recent pieces in a pared-down format that places voice and lyrics at the center.
