Sarah Schwab, a French singer and impressionist, delights in the voices that have shaped pop and chanson. Her show From Dream to Reality unfolds as a gallery of sung portraits in which she lends her tone and gestures to artists who are instantly recognizable. Directed by Patrick Sébastien, she strings together numbers that play on precise phrasing, nuance and stage conventions. The programme features Céline Dion, Britney Spears, Véronique Sanson, Anastacia, Vanessa Paradis, Lady Gaga and many others, reinterpreted with arrangements tailored for live performance.

On 24 April 2026 at the Opéra Berlioz in Montpellier, Sarah Schwab presents a programme of around 80 minutes, conceived as a narrative thread in which the voices answer one another. Transitions are carefully crafted; the interpretation draws on the texture and breath of each artist’s voice, moving between playful nods and deliberate quotations. Neither pastiche nor caricature, she offers a journey through repertoires that speaks as much to those who know these singers by heart as to the curious. It is a concert-theatre piece that puts vocal performance at its centre while leaving room for acting.
