Thylacine

On April 25, 2026, Thylacine will hit the road to the Arkea Arena in Floirac. Behind this pseudonym, French producer and composer William Rezé continues his singular way of making music on the move. After the Trans-Siberian, the Andes, the Faroe Islands and even a detour to Turkey to get to grips with the bağlama, he left his Paris studio to write Roads Vol. 3 on a long journey—three months across a new continent—still living in his 1972 Airstream converted into a mobile studio.

This method of composing in close contact with landscapes, encounters and sounds gathered on site informs a sensitive electronic composition made of organic textures, supple rhythms and melodies that unfold like lines on the horizon. On stage, Thylacine assembles his recordings, machines and keyboards into a musical narrative conceived as a journey: unhurried, with the space necessary to let intuition work. In Floirac he will present this new chapter and revisit his earlier stops, hovering between controlled wandering and the precision of a producer. An invitation to simply follow the road with him.
