Didier Barbelivien

On March 14, 2026, Didier Barbelivien will take up residence at the Casino Barrière Bordeaux in Bordeaux. A leading singer-songwriter of French chanson for several decades, he revisits on stage a repertoire that has marked both radio and hearts, blending his own songs with titles he wrote for others. His emblematic pieces such as Elle, Elsa, À toutes les filles and Les Mariés de Vendée are joined by a selection of songs penned for a long list of performers.

On the program are choruses everyone knows: Michèle (for Gérard Lenorman), L’été s’ra chaud (for Éric Charden), Il tape sur des bambous (for Philippe Lavil), On va s’aimer and Les Sunlights des Tropiques (for Gilbert Montagné), Mademoiselle chante le blues and Mon mec à moi (for Patricia Kaas), Est-ce que tu viens pour les vacances ? (for David et Jonathan). Also included are Petite fille du soleil (for Christophe), Elle m’oublie (for Johnny Hallyday), Quand je t’aime (for Demis Roussos), J’étais un ange (for Michel Delpech), La rivière de notre enfance (for Michel Sardou and Garou), and Méditerranéenne (for Hervé Vilard).

The concert is conceived as a unifying thread through his lyrics and melodies, between memories and refrains that endure through the years.
