ISOxo

Born in San Diego, Julian Isorena records under the name ISOxo, producing electronic club music that sits between bass music, trap, dubstep and house, with a marked taste for broken rhythms, tense buildups and dark textures. ISOxo began producing in 2012 and initially became part of the American bass scene through a series of tracks that circulated widely online, before gaining wider visibility with "Ground", "Radial" and then "Stinger", a collaboration with RL Grime released in 2021. That same year the EP Nightrealm clarified his aesthetic—direct yet intricately constructed, conceived for live performance as much as for listening. Close to Knock2, with whom he regularly shares projects and stages, ISOxo subsequently moved from club circuits to major festivals, appearing at Hard Summer, Ultra, Head in the Clouds and Coachella. In 2023 ISOxo released his first album, kidsgonemad!, on 88rising, continuing a sound that blends rave tension, trap cuts and the energy of the contemporary bass scene.
